Wildlife rehabilitation fund

Help rehabbers keep saying yes.

Recurring support can cover the daily costs that make wildlife rehabilitation possible: formula, cages, medication, food, transport, and emergency care.

417 Wildlife Alliance is a nonprofit initiative currently in formation. We have not yet filed for 501(c)(3) status with the IRS and are in the process of securing a fiscal sponsor so gifts can be tax-deductible. Donations made today are not tax-deductible and are held for the future benefit of this mission. Please consult your tax advisor. Represent a 501(c)(3) interested in fiscal-sponsoring this work? Where gifts go

Your gift can help with

  • Formula and feeding supplies for baby animals.
  • Transport support between finders, rehabbers, vets, and release sites.
  • Emergency supplies and medical needs.
  • Micro-grants or reimbursements for approved licensed or permitted rehabbers.
  • Continued development of capabilities for 417 Wildlife Alliance.

417 Wildlife Alliance has not yet received 501(c)(3) determination from the IRS. Donation receipts will reflect our charitable status at the time of the gift, and will note fiscal-sponsor details once a sponsorship agreement is in place.

What gifts make possible

Small gifts can cover very real needs.

Wildlife rehabilitation is often paid for one formula order, one enclosure repair, one tank of gas, and one emergency supply run at a time.

$25

Feeding support

Helps cover formula, syringes, produce, seed, or species-appropriate food used by licensed caregivers.

$50

Safe housing

Helps with bedding, enclosure supplies, cleaning materials, heat support, and short-term recovery needs.

$100

Urgent response

Helps offset transport, emergency supplies, veterinary coordination, or larger seasonal supply needs.

Donor trust

Give with clarity.

Donors should know what their support is meant to do, who it is meant to help, and what status applies to the gift before they contribute.

Care comes first

Support is intended for licensed or permitted rehabilitators, wildlife nonprofits, and approved care-related needs.

No vague promises

Before you give, 417 Wildlife Alliance will be clear about the current tax status of the gift.

Impact should be visible

As the fund grows, public updates should show what was purchased, who was helped, and what outcomes were made possible.
